We all have experiences with water—both joyous and perilous. In the desert, we appreciate the importance of water. We also recognize water as a fundamental element in the human body, up to 70 percent of which is composed of water. Inspired by the Helios Education Campus’s sustainable water design, Xico has engaged artists to create works about water. These pieces, both personal and ancestral, appeal to a larger, collective consciousness and establish an intimate cultural experience.
